The law makes it mandatory for employers and sponsors to provide health insurance for their non-Qatari employees.
Qatar issued Law No. 22 of 2021 in October 2021 and published it in the official Gazette in November of the same year. The law makes it mandatory for employers and sponsors to provide health insurance for their non-Qatari employees. This also applies to visitors, who would require a valid health insurance policy for the duration of their stay in Qatar.
