Contractual joint ventures: practical thoughts for foreign companies operating in the Gulf region

This article has been drafted on the basis of research and advice given in the context of several recent projects (including two oil & gas projects,  and one project related to the 2022 World Cup), as well as on the basis of older projects on which Arnaud had the chance to work.

Arnaud Depierrefeu, who spent 11 years in Qatar (2009-2019), is now based in Paris and heads a Middle East Desk dedicated to the support of the firm’s French clients in the development of their activities in the Middle East but also Middle Eastern clients for their projects in France. He continues to visit his clients in the region on a regular basis.
