Qatar among the world's top 15 for greenfield FDI thanks to strong investment momentum
Qatar has climbed 21 places to rank 12th globally in the fDi Intelligence Greenfield FDI Performance Index 2025, a clear reflection of its growing competitiveness, business-friendly environment and strong global outreach.
In 2024, inbound greenfield projects nearly doubled, earning Qatar an index score of 4.70. The momentum continued in 2025 with projects up 44.5%, job creation up 75% and 77% of Q2 CAPEX flowing into high-tech projects, signalling investor confidence in Qatar’s readiness to lead in advanced industries.
