Egis to lead Qatar's public transport master plan

Egis, a global leader in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, and mobility services, announces its collaboration with the Qatar Ministry of Transport to develop a Qatar Public Transport Master Plan (QPTMP). This 30-month project will transform the country's transportation landscape while balancing Qatar's rapid urban growth with its commitment to sustainable development.

The QPTMP will bypass conventional frameworks and strategically guide the evolution of the transportation system to address challenges related to growing car dependency, congestion, and environmental impact. Designed for a diverse audience, including policymakers, government officials, developers, investors, consultants, engineers, and urban planners, the plan will provide these stakeholders with concrete frameworks and guidelines for the effective planning, design, implementation, and operation of public transportation services. It will also include prescriptive policies, laws and regulations, accompanied by a rigorous monitoring program for integrated and comprehensive solutions.
