Ghanim Al-Sulaiti is an engineer and urban innovation leader with 15 years of experience spanning major infrastructure, urban development, smart cities, digital transformation, and sustainability in Qatar.
He began his career as a civil engineer and Tunnel Engineer on the Doha Metro project, contributing to one of Qatar’s most significant infrastructure developments. His career has since evolved from large-scale engineering and infrastructure delivery to leading the transformation of cities through technology, data, and sustainability.
Today, as Head of Smart City Management at Qatari Diar, Ghanim leads smart city transformation initiatives focused on creating more connected, efficient, sustainable, and people-centered urban environments. His work brings together digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, resource efficiency, and innovative city solutions to improve operations and quality of life.
Ghanim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, where he graduated with distinction.
Beyond his professional role, Ghanim is an active advocate for sustainability, wellness, and healthier living within the community, reflecting his belief that the future of cities should ultimately create a better and more sustainable quality of life for people.
