We invite you to participate in the first meeting of the Sustainable City Committee, "Fateh Al Khair" meeting room, Ritz Carlton, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday May 17.
Chaired by Laurent Furedi, Country Manager Engie Qatar, the committee aims to:
- carry out a diagnosis of the country's challenges
- facilitate the exchange of information and best practices between French companies
- highlight French skills and promote advocacy with the Qatari authorities through:
- the setting up of conferences, round tables, on the issues of the sustainable city
- the submission of a "green book" presenting fairly extensive suggestions
During this first meeting, we will validate the selected themes and the leaders of each group, and adopt a work schedule:
- Green finance
- Transport, urban mobility, urban planning
- Circular economy: waste, water, waste to energy
- Health, air quality
- Hydrogen and energy applied to the smart city
The meeting will be followed by a cocktail.
