Qatar Sustainability Week : Restoring Mangroves for a Greener Future

Qatar Sustainability Week: CMA CGM and CEVA Logistics Driving Concrete Environmental Action

In line with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the national sustainability strategy, the CCI France Qatar participated in a mangrove restoration day organized by Earthna – Qatar Foundation. This large-scale scientific project aims to restore over 40 hectares of coastal forests while raising awareness about the preservation of Qatar’s natural ecosystem. 🌿

This initiative was marked by the outstanding commitment of our members CMA CGM and CEVA Logistics, whose active participation played a key role in the success of the day. For the second time, their teams were on the ground, demonstrating their environmental vision and strong dedication to concrete action in support of sustainable transition.

💚 Together, we carried out:
– the planting of new mangroves,
– careful maintenance of coastal structures,
– contributions to the scientific mapping of the area,

All guided by the expertise of Dr. Aspa.

CCI France Qatar is proud to be the second group to join this long-term project, part of a broader series of initiatives led by our Chamber in the field of sustainable development.
