International Men's Day ✨ our Raffles Doha evening talk✨
On the occasion of International Men’s Day, CCI France Qatar hosted an exceptional evening at the Blue Cigar Lounge at Raffles Doha, bringing together engaged general managers ready to reflect on the essential role men play as allies in women’s empowerment.
Under the inspiring moderation of Dr. Shaheena Janjuha-Jivraj, international expert in inclusive leadership and Forbes contributor, the conversation took on a particularly concrete and profound dimension. Participants demonstrated remarkable honesty and a genuine willingness to take action. Several companies shared initiatives already implemented within their organisations—leadership programmes, inclusive recruitment practices—showing that these strategies are already delivering strong results in performance, talent retention and team cohesion.
The discussions went far beyond theory, focusing on real-life workplace situations: how to support female talent, create inclusive environments, and rethink leadership to benefit everyone. These sincere exchanges served as a reminder that gender equality is not a women’s issue, but a collective responsibility.
This evening clearly showed that momentum is building, and that some companies are already exemplary models of concrete and measurable action.
