A workshop organized with the Ministry of Labor, the French Embassy, and the International Labor Office.

In partnership with the International Labour Organization, the French Embassy, and the Ministry of Labour, CCIFQ organized a workshop about joint labour committees to representatives from 38 French companies operating in the Qatari marketplace.

Among the attendees were HE Sheikha Najwa bint Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the Deputy Secretary for Expatriate Labour Affairs at the Ministry of Labour, and HE Mr. Jean-Baptiste Faivre, the French Republic's Ambassador to the State of Qatar.

Joint Committees serve as a platform for collaboration and dialogue, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within organizations. Xavier Mathieu, General Manager for Nexans QICC in Qatar, remarkably demonstrated from his experience and with data that Joint Committees are not just a cost for companies, but rather an investment with many benefits: less accidents, less employee turnover, less sick leaves, among others.
